REPAIRS

First and foremost, Upstate Gunsmithing is built around repairs to firearms.  As our slogan says, "If it shoots, we can fix it".   I pride myself on being able to diagnose gun problems, be they feeding issues, extraction/ejection issues, safety issues - whatever.  Our mission is to return your firearm to the working condition God intended.  If parts need to be repaired, we can often do that here in the shop.  If a part needs to be replaced, I will let you know that along with the cost so you can make a decision to proceed or not (sometimes it costs more to fix a gun than the firearm is worth).  We pride ourselves in collaborating with our customers, and this is a simple outcropping of that. What we want to avoid are any unpleasant surprises to you in the form of a price tag you didn't anticipate.
